Well hello there, awesome human! Thank you for stopping by to read another issue of Women in Tech Weekly and to get your weekly dose of female badassery inspiration!
Let’s start with…
Claire is going on Sabbatical to work on building her own business!
In her own words:
“I took the leap to leave my job at Amazon for a few months and work on making my business sustainable. I’m going to be building it up and preparing for a couple of launches so that hopefully I can make it a full-time gig in the next year! Want to see the first part? Check out my store: https://www.artificiallyintelligentclaire.com/shop“
Congratulations for taking this brave leap, Claire! We all know that this adventure will open you doors and opportunities that you’ve never dreamed of!
It is Alex’s Birthday today! ?
Happy Birthday, you smart and talented woman! May this year bring you lots of success and balance ❤️
Dasani has finished her senior project and her last day of classes!
In her own words: “My team and I created an Android Application to prevent food wastage for our senior project. It helps you keep track of your food and lets you know when it will expire. It will also suggest recipes based on the ingredients you have in your pantry. We worked on it for the whole semester and finally finished this week!”
Kris bought her own home in London!
My badass friend Kris just got her own flat in London and moved into it this weekend! I’m so impressed by this awesome girl and her determination! Congratulations, Kris!!
Masha has become a full-time entrepreneur and is a soon-to-be digital nomad!
Yes, this is about my own milestones 🙂 I’m super excited about these changes in my life and shared my thoughts and emotions in this YouTube video!
– Dr. Shini Somara’s podcast which gives women in STEM a voice – submitted by an Anonymous Badass:
“I would like to stay anonymous on this. Which is exactly what her podcast is about! The more people that hear it the better as it is about women and their true feelings about the stem career they’ve pursued. I think this is very important and valuable to give women a voice without feeling like they will get in trouble for saying certain things or trying to promote themselves.”
Kathryn and Robyn have created an awesome podcast, diving into what it’s like to be a software developer! They give tips for learners, demystify concepts and talk about career in tech.
Laurence’s amazing podcast delivers on it’s promise! She covers questions like: how to choose the right programming language and how to use your skills in tech to travel the world. Perfect for aspiring techies and any self-taught programmers out there!
Claire’s designs crack me up, she is so witty with her play on words and imagery! Perfect for all of the nerds out there who enjoy making a fashion statement ?
