Can you believe that it’s already been 2 months since I’ve started this newsletter? I can’t!
It’s been so much fun celebrating all of you, amazing women – please keep all of these personal and career wins coming – as well as resources that you’d like to share with the world!
So let’s start with:
Christina has started an Instagram account to document her journey learning how to code and to keep herself motivated!
“I’m teaching myself to code in my free time, and I’m really liking it! I’m trying to keep myself motivated to continue to learn, even when it’s hard, so I created an Instagram account to show off my work and build a network of supportive developers that I can learn from.”
Welcome to this awesome tech community, Christina! You can do this and we are all here for you in case if you need support or motivation ❤️
Sonia was selected to be an LSAMP (Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation) Peer Mentor!
“LSAMP is a program at my college (Oregon State University) that provides support for minority students interested in STEM. Every summer the program offers a ten-day camp for new incoming students. I am an active member of the program. This year I applied to be a mentor for the incoming class of students. To my surprise, I was selected! So excited to “pay it forward” to help a future generation to succeed.”
Congratulations, Sonia!! I’m so excited for you and for all of the students that you will mentor 😎

Alexa is celebrating the launch of imagiCharm!
“We are a female-founded company called imagiLabs that wants to spark interest in technology among more girls across the world. We’ve created our first programmable accessory, imagiCharm, which is launching via Kickstarter for pre-orders TODAY at 5 pm London time. imagiCharm connects via Bluetooth to our app where you can customize your gadget while learning how to code in python. There’s even a community in the app where girls can upload their coded creations and collaborate with others.”
