This Tuesday falls dead in the middle of holiday season, so it’s a short, but still very sweet one 🙂
We’ve good a new job, a resource filled with more inspiring women, and a history lesson to encourage you to pursue your tech career, because, yes, a woman’s place is in that industry, too! Enjoy and see you next week, hopefully, featured in the next issue of Women in Tech Weekly Newsletter (link for submissions below).
Amalia got a job as a Front end engineer!
Congratulations girl! That’s awesome, we’re all excited to see what you get up to 👩💻

Software was Women’s Work in 1940’s – created and shared by me 🙂
Did you know that women used to work as human computers and that tech was a mainstream career choice for women? Even Cosmopolitan published an article about it in the 1960’s – talking about many great career opportunities women can have in the industry! Watch this video to learn more about the history of women in tech and about the amazing female inventors and pioneers in the field!
Even as most of us are on holiday (I’m travelling around at this very moment), some of you are still doing such amazing things that I’m in awe every time I prepare this newsletter… And for everyone else reading this, make sure you share your knowledge and accomplishments when you’re back from vacation, refreshed and ready for new tech victories!
Please let me know your thoughts in the comments below and if you’d like to share something for next week’s issue, here’s the submission form!! Bookmark that and add anything you’d like to share in there 🙂
