Celebrations 🥂🎉

Natasha has been invited to host a webinar!

In her own words:

“A company in the UK associated with Digital Experts Academy has asked me to host a webinar focused around branding oneself and how to go about doing that. I’ll be talking about finding and focusing on one’s passions, strengths and how to leverage those to work for your business. I’ll also talk about building a website focused on one’s brand, the do’s and don’ts and how to really stand out. I’m beyond excited as I get to reach people on a broader scale.”

Shreya celebrated her 25th birthday last week!

In her own words:

“I turned 25 last week! The trajectory of this past year has brought me to heights I could never imagine possible. Some highlights of the past 12 months have been a career promotion, solo travel, technical advancement outside of work, reevaluating friendships, and joining a community (online and offline).”

~~ FIVE Moments of Personal Growth & Pride From 24 ✨ ~~⁣ .⁣ .⁣ ✨ Happy Monday friends! I’m back and (as of last Wednesday) a year older! Today I want to reflect on some moments of pride and learning from the past 12 months as I turn the page on another chapter. ⁣ —— ⁣ ⁣ 🎂 Career Promotion – Knowing that my manager and team members all vouched for me and my engineering work quality brings me so much pride and excitement for the future steps to come. As someone who did not major in computer science in college, it was a vindicating turning point for me where I finally started dropping my imposter syndrome. ⁣ ⁣ 🎂 Solo Travel – I haven’t talked about this topic on my page, but in November 2019 I treated myself to a trip to Taipei, Taiwan. I had the most incredible time exploring, eating, and experiencing a new culture. I had been scared to go somewhere so far on my own for so many years, and conquering this mental hurdle is something I’m so proud of myself for! ⁣ ⁣ 🎂 Technical Advancement unrelated to work – Earlier this year was the first time I’d ever created something with code outside of work or school. I found enjoyment and pride in this and went on to complete a Udemy course teaching myself a whole new stack. There was a point I thought I’d never want to code outside of work, and this year I broke that mental barrier. ⁣ ⁣ 🎂 Removed friendships – Without getting into too much detail, I re-evaluated some of my friendships this year. It’s no secret that quality > quantity on this matter, and I found myself having to cut some people out of my life this year. This isn’t natural for me as an extrovert who wants to stay friends with everyone, but taking action to remove toxic people was a turning point for me.⁣ ⁣ 🎂 Joining a community (online and offline) – Offline, I joined an in person Lean In community in November 2019 and had some impactful conversations with other industry members. Online, I’m so happy to have found such supportive IG friends and opportunities via @codewithshreya. Thank you all for these experiences ❤️⁣ ⁣ —— ⁣ ✨ Let’s celebrate! What’s one thing from the past 12 months that you’re proud of yourself for? ⁣
