Celebrations 🥂🎉

Farida launched her own blog!

In her own words:

“I have been long waiting to create my own blog and write about the awesome events that I attend as well as some Digital Inspiration Stories. Finally, I launched my blog, ready to share my experiences and knowledge with others!

As a non-native English Speaker, I was always worried and nervous to ever get judged for my blog posts, so I would constantly put it off. I also didn’t know anything about creating a blog page, until recently I took some short online courses on how to create a blog and bought a domain, to begin with. I also started attending more events and joined meet-ups where I got motivated to share the information with the rest. So now, I finally made my first couple posts on my page http://weeklyinspired.com/category/events/. I am not a professional at writing a blog, but I really enjoy meeting new people, going to amazing events, learning about digital marketing and inspiring others with my personal experiences.”

Hey Everyone,⠀ ⠀ So I have been long waiting to complete my blog 'Weekly Inspired' and share my knowledge, experiences and research about Marketing and Business Development.⠀ ⠀ I have also been attending some really great events/workshops/meetups in Istanbul(as well as any city I travel to) and I want to share my opinion and experiences from them. I love being part of very interactive workshops where I can gain new information and create bigger network. ⠀ ⠀ Latest workshop events which I attended and really loved are:⠀ ⠀ – Google Sandbox Istanbul Event⠀ – Tips and Tricks on Coding Interview – Murtadha Al-Tameemi from Facebook⠀ – Product Management Night in Istanbul (soon to be on the blog)⠀ ⠀ Finally, some of the posts are already up, but the blog itself needs a little more work to do – so I will need some patience and support from you side 😊. Hope you guys will enjoy reading through the posts and share them with your friends. I am more than happy to get your feedback in order to make it better for you all!⠀ ⠀ Click the link on my profile to read my latest blog on Coding Interview Workshop which I attended couple weeks ago. I want to Thank M. Aziz Ulak and his Facebook Developers Circle Team for organizing such an awesome workshop! Also, big thanks to Murtadha for his very information and interactive presentation!⠀ ⠀ You can also just visit weeklyinspired.com and check out the latest post on the events I have attended 😄⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ #business #entrepreneur #smallbusiness #follow #bloggerlife #bloggers #likeandfollow #facebook #facebookmarketing #facebooklife #facebooktips #interviewtipis #interviewpreparation #interviewquestions #codinginterview #codinglife #interviewadvice #jobinterviews #techinterview #technologyjobs #bloggerstyle #marketingdigital #marketingstrategy #digitalmarketing #marketingnews #followformore #weeklyinspired #dailyinspiration #goodmorningworld #goodmorningbloggers

Kriti started an Instagram page to inspire more girls to study computer science!

In her own words:

“I have been toying with the idea of starting an Instagram handle to encourage girls to study CS. After hearing there was a drastic drop in the number of girls in the year below me at university I decided it was time to take matters into my own hands.”

Ines is making progress towards diversity in tech!

In her own words:

“A few months ago my colleague and I did a small workshop for young girls showing them what we do and teaching them some basics of UX design and Frontend development. Yesterday the HR department called me to tell me one of the girls applied for an internship with us.”
