I wanted to take the chance to reflect on one thing that we sometimes forget to be thankful for. ⁣Our body. ⁣ As you may already know, I'm a big fan of self-care, and a huge proponent of leading a healthy lifestyle within a field that can often go against that if we don't put in the extra effort. But something I haven't touched upon much is ??? ???????????? ?? ???? ???? ??? ??????. ⁣ ⁣ Growing up as women in this world, we are bombarded with subliminal and direct messages about how our bodies are not good enough, not skinny enough, not curvy enough, not sexy enough, and so on and so forth. They tell us to hate our bodies, to starve them, to call them ugly names in our minds and out-loud, and to spend money on their products to make it all better. But ??? ????? ? ???? ?? ????, ???? ?? ???? ?? ?? ????? ⁣ ⁣ Many years ago I made a silent pact with my body that I would ???? ?? ??? ??????? ?? through all its fluctuations, and that I would ??????? ?? from all the companies and industries that are trying to turn me against it. Because ?? ?'? ??? ??????? ??? ??? ??, ??? ????? ⁣ ⁣ My body does so much for me. It allows me to run, to enjoy floating in the ocean, it puts up with my obsession with sitting in front of a computer and coding for hours, it doesn't give up on me no matter how much it wants to when I force it through yet another hackathon, and it does so many other things for me that I'm not even aware of. ⁣ ⁣ All our bodies do. No matter how we may treat them, they are still there for us. So today I want to be grateful for that. Because being kind to our body is a major part of leading a balanced life, being a productive individual, and achieving all our goals in a healthy manner. ⁣ ⁣ I am glad to see companies like @trueandco which are going against the grain and putting and end to the toxic messaging that is being delivered to consumers. And I am proud to join the #???????? movement. ⁣ ⁣ Happy thanksgiving to my friends in the US. I don't celebrate Thanksgiving but I'll take any chance to practice some gratitude???✨

5 Ways Women can support Fellow Female Entrepreneurs created and shared by me 🙂

Diversity is vital in any industry, that goes without saying. Ideally, all groups should be equally represented in every aspect of life and business, however, in reality, that’s not always the case. According to a study by Crunchbase, in 2017 only 17% of the startups globally had at least one female founder. This is quite depressing in my opinion, there should be more female entrepreneurs.

So what’s the best way to bridge that gap?

Please let me know your thoughts in the comments below and if you’d like to share something for next week’s issue, here’s the submission form!! Bookmark that and add anything you’d like to share in there ?
